An eclectic collection and biography on some of the more colourful characters in my greater family’s history, reaching back a millennium. Many of them are worthy of a biography of their own. I am indeed humbled and proud of their achievements. There is much additional research that could be done, but I have stopped short of making this a serious academic research paper. It certainly contains the facts as best I can find them but also shows my thoughts and reflections. So, these stories are unencumbered by the need for accurate literary scholarship or endless referencing. This was done to provide a more flowing, readable, and enjoyable short history of my ancestors from all over Europe.
