Regrets Too Few to Mention

I’ve lived a full and amazing life. It’s surprised me more than anybody else as there were plenty early on who predicted my downfall or, at the very best, thought or wanted me to fail and amount to nothing. I was greatly affected by that. It’s gone beyond any dream I had as a kid. I was a dreamer for sure and was denigrated for it, but it didn’t stop me. As I’ve got older and wiser, I’d like to think I’ve become a better human being, a humanist now, being far more honest and happier to be judged as I am. No pretence here now. Finding love and fulfilment later in life, allowing me to be all I can be, has been an unexpected joy that knows no bounds. This has been my path for some time now. I have no regrets, but take all you find here not too seriously. Although it’s all true, except for perhaps a few parts that aren’t recalled that well or just maybe were exaggerated. Then there’s the parts I left out intentionally. As in life, it’s hard to get the balance right. And life is something none of us gets out of alive, so perhaps I’ll see you on the other side, where we can continue to debate this for eternity. Amen!
