First there was him who died so young Then there was your first lover with whom you could not stay After those crazy guys who screwed your body and mind and had it all their way You were lost and confused, so smart but so dumb Not sure to run or to hide or in who to confide Wanting love so bad but not sure how to find No trust by now in all of mankind It took all my patience and love to see you through But it was worth it because in the end I found the real you
